AET designs power, energy and water systems so that Clients can benefit immediately from technical advancements to improve water, productivity, power and environmental standards. AET’s management has been in the renewable energy space since 1995, having achieved great success with the largest number of United Nations Carbon Offset programs (UNFCCC CDM) from its projects throughout Southeast Asia. More than 3 million tons of CO2 abatement occurred because of the efforts of the AET Partners from 1999 to 2012.
In January 2022, AET launched an extensive solar trading house business, aiming at becoming one of the largest wholesale trading concerns for the burgeoning solar and wind RE markets. AET supplies high quality, low-cost solar PV panels, inverters, battery storage, small scale wind turbines, and all balance of system as distributors and sales agents. The solar trading house engages with installers, systems integrators, and EPC in commercial, industrial, and especially residential and small commercial projects of less than 100 kWp. AET works mostly in grid-connected environments, but also has project development in hybrid renewable projects, mini-grids and off-grid applications. AET’s core mission statement is for the promotion of “clean power, clean energy and clean water” alternatives, with overall lowering of our clients’ carbon footprints. Technologies applied must reflect overall lower energy requirements and lower energy intensity. Clients are mostly industrial, food and beverage processing plants.
In Energy Efficiency, AET works with an esteemed energy services company (ESCO) to prove its clients with energy audits and energy efficiency projects for its mostly industrial company clientele to transform the numbers into energy projects with 15% ROI or better returns as per the rules and regulations of the R.A. 11285, Energy Efficiency & Conservation Act of 2018. As a result, our portfolio is necessarily diverse, as the technical teams works across the spectrum, in end-to-end projects development, from EPC and O&M service providers for installation, upgrading, design & engineering of rooftop solar pv projects, heating and cooling systems, waste heat recovery, water, and wastewater treatment facilities, & waste-to-energy (WTE) plants. AET executes these projects through longstanding relationships with AAA-contractors, engineering and design specialty firms and technology providers.
AET maintains a strong strategic business in the delivery of appropriate circular technologies that would reduce per unit energy costs and energy intensity, as well as our after-sales service businesses in ‘solar-as-a-service’ and ‘steam-as-a-service’. On Luzon and the Mindanao Islands, we maintain core operating teams to achieve long term operations integrity. Many of our projects are BOT/BOO financed from financial partners in Singapore, Tigris Water Fund.

Original Corporate Underpinnings & Continuing Business Development
AET began its corporate life in Thailand in 2012 as a biomass and biogas systems integrator; and later moved into the Philippines with similar product and service orientation. Our original purpose was to promote the Indian gasifier technologies related to India Institute of Science and Technology (IISc) in Bangalore, India & GE India, a major subsidiary of GE (USA). During that period, AET was a distributor and project development ally of GE.
In tandem with biomass development, AET management continues to work on forming allegiances with land development companies, agri-businesses, local banking firms, and international technologies firms to develop large-scale operations in bamboo plantations in Davao del Norte, hybrid Napier grass (or Pakchong 2) in Central Luzon, coconut operations for coco shell and coco husks in Northern and Eastern Mindanao, rice husks from various rice farmers in Luzon and Mindoro Island. Recently, AET has been asked by URC, a major agribusiness, to develop a refuse-derived fuel (RDF) to combust with Indonesian coal for its boilers in food and beverage factories throughout the Philippines.
From 2012-2020, AET represented the Thermax Boiler Company on both boilers and chiller technologies. Thermax is arguably one of the best technical engineering firms in India. During the pandemic, they reduced their SE Asian footprint, and AET joined with Sitong Boiler Company, one of China’s premier boiler technology concerns. with Sitong Boiler Company, one of China’s premier boiler technology concerns. With Sitong, AET remains highly competitive on technical excellence, pricing and after sales services.
AET remains highly competitive on technical excellence, pricing and after sales services.AET has been involved in solar power project development through the F.I.T. period of 2014-2016 with its strategic partners from Mumbai, PR Associates. We developed more than a dozen projects over the years with PR, so of which have been executed. With Thermax Solar of India, AET spent 3 years as their strategic partners on more than 2 MWp of rooftop solar projects. More recently, AET has been a member of the Longi group of distributors from 2021; and now have been involved closely with Supermax distributors for several other brands. In 2024, AET signed an MOU to represent Jinko Solar, a major panel supplier with higher efficiency panels and best pricing.
Where we are now
Today, AET has grown into a full-fledged project developer, including project financing of renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) projects. In every project, AET works with international and local banks, Private Equity Groups, and its principal investor, Tigris, to obtain attractive financing options.
In Solar projects, our firm is working on a portfolio of rooftop projects including hybrids, of over 7 MWp. Currently, we are concluding installation and erection of 900 kWp for Corbox Inc., cardboard maker with operations in Cebu and Cagayan de Oro. For process steam, the firm is nearing completion of a major boiler project with JEVERPS noodle makers in Paranaque, Metro Manila. We are pleased to be working with Rakhoh Boilers of Pune, India in the development and execution of this turnkey project.
